CarciNova is a registered non-profit cancer awareness and patient support organization founded with the vision of reaching every rural household with the power of awareness, counselling, and compassionate guidance
We are committed to fighting cancer through education, empathy, and early support — empowering communities to recognize warning signs, seek guidance confidently, and access timely care.
Unlike referral agencies or hospital mediators, we never refer patients to private institutions. Instead, we stand beside them — guiding, educating, and connecting them with verified doctors for teleconsultations and long-term motivation.
Our mission extends beyond awareness — we aim to build mobile cancer care units that travel to remote villages of Northern Andhra, delivering screenings, video education, and emotional counselling free of cost.
We believe the true fight against cancer begins not in hospitals, but in hearts, homes, and hopeful communities.

There are around 199 lakhs Incident Cancer cases in 2022 worldwide, in which India stands 3rd after China and USA with 14.6 lakhs new cases a year and expecting a raise by 50% in 2040.
1 in 9 people are liked to develop Cancer in his/her lifetime. Oral cavity (16.2%) & Breast Cancers (26.3%) are the leading sites of cancers in male & female respectively. There is a risk of 1 in 29 females for breast cancer ,1 in 42 males for oral cavity cancer & 1 in 75 females for cervical cancer in their life time.
In the year 2022 we have seen approximately 9.6 lakhs deaths (almost equal in both males and females) due to Cancer & this is in increasing trend. Breast Cancer ranks 1 followed by Cervical Cancer, oral cavity & lung Cancer in deaths among the total population.
Top 5 Cancers in Men (Oral cavity, Lung, Stomach, colorectal and esophageal) & Women (Breast, Cervix, Oral Cavity, Colorectal and Ovary) account for approximately 50% of all cancers. Very importantly most of these cancers can be prevented, screened, detected & treated at early stage to reduce morbidity and mortality.
Survival rates for the most common Oral, Breast & Cervical Cancers are good, like almost 80%, provided they are detected and treated in the early stages. On the other hand prognosis for advanced stage is around 10% for these common cancers
One of our Flagship programme “Awareness on Cancer & Screening for early detection, prevention and treatment” is a transformational one which will help curb the Cancer burden from grass root level. National Level Programme with uniform module and operation guidelines to screen entire country based on high risk strategy will have good & immediate results
